Course Outline
Non-accredited – Participants will require to provide pre-requisite PUAFIR207 Operate breathing apparatus open circuit gained within the last 3 years and and/or twelve months experience in an emergency services officer role.
This certificate and/or evidence must be provided at the time of enrolment.
Payment must be made once eligibility to attend has been confirmed.
Course Outcomes:
Session may include many of the following techniques based on the students needs:
- Working in smoke and darkness
- Rapid intervention firefighter rescue
- Tunnel Crawl
- Entrapment
- Multiple building search scenario – multiple exit and entry points
Non-accredited – Record of Participation and BA Log entry issued to students on completion
There is a minimum number of 4 students required to run this course.
To meet the course entry requirements, students must:
- Provide requested statements of attainments with currency no older than three (3) years and/or documentation that shows twelve months experience in an emergency services officer role.
- Provide proof of identity, e.g. drivers licence
- Wear or bring long sleeve, long pants or overalls, safety boots, safety glasses
Currency within at least the last three (3) years and/or 12 months experience in an emergency services officer role:

Students are required to be able to complete the following tasks:
