MERC 2020: That’s a wrap!
We at SETS were delighted to be a part of the 10th Anniversary of the Mining Emergency Response Competition (MERC) 2020 as a bronze sponsor.
MERC is an annual Perth event that showcases and provides world-class emergency rescue and skill building exercises for volunteer mines rescue teams. To find out what else MERC entails, read more on our earlier blog post here.
Over the 28th and 29th November, volunteer mines rescue teams from all over WA competed in a series of emergency response scenarios at MERC, having the unique opportunity to show the public what they do to protect and save lives every day.
We also had our own mini competition at the SETS stand with the Cornhole Challenge. Players of all ages took a crack at it to see who will top the leaderboard to win a brand new set of ARES Glove from ESKA! By the end of the weekend, the winner was Annette with an incredible total of 15 points!
